LISTEN TO THE LATEST TRACK FROM MAYOR SLY'S HIP-HOP SON KJ: 38 SPECIAL!!!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here . . .

ACTUALLY, I THINK THE LATEST TRACK FROM KYLE JAMES IS PRETTY DAMN GOOD!!!

Take a listen . . .

KJ of COA - 38 Special

Now . . . At first I was thinking the gun tag would be rather controversial . . . But no . . . The lyrics are mostly about hard drinking Kansas City hip-hop life with only a passing reference to probation and local hotties.

Forgive me for being from the Midwest . . . But I was almost expecting a 38 Special band reference . . . Just to mix things up.

Still, this follow-up to the Barz4Daze mixtape reveals that KJ is making steady progress in his musical aspirations and seems to be working hard to step up his game.

  4. Hey KJ, duo espresso, cafe au lait and a decaf for table 7 and Sly called, stop at Winsteads when you get off, get him a triple with eveything and a dark chocolate shake for mom

  5. I hate rap but it wasnt all that bad...looks like he is out doing his father...but hey that wasn't hard to do!

  6. I think "KJ" has to curse to much in one sentence to bring anything creative to the table.

The Phantom is great, I think that guy is going places, but if he sticks with KJ it will prevent him. Bender could be a great song if I would have never seen Kyle Jame's on a youtube video singing along with it....good grief man.

  7. Too much cursing.

  8. Exactly, not saying you can not curse in music or in speech, but if it comes out of your mouth every time you talk? It is just really immature.

  9. I agree, it's definiately an improvement over what he had posted before.

  10. That punk needs a hard hat, a shovel, and a job in a ditch asap. It should be illegal for him to be within 20 yards of a microphone.
Suicide might be his ONLY solution. After that, people might remember him....um......fondly. At this point, though, garbage is garbage. Plain and simple. I bet the studio STUNK when he left.
Tony, your overall creditability takes a major hit every time you post this offensive vomit.

  11. KJ needs to become a DJ and stop rapping.

    TKC stop encouraging him.

  13. Last I read, he was working a regular job and "singing" on the side.

He hasn't been involved with the law for months I think.

I would leave the kid alone.
