  3. Th less electricity we use to keep our costs down the more they ask for and get rate increases to offset our efforts. Most Americans seem to be to dumb or spaced out to be able to comprehend this. Than we they get overcharged right out of house and home and end up destitute they still don't know what hit them. Frogs in a pot.

    You bring up very good points. We try and conserve power usage and for the most part many are able to do so. But then KCPL sees what is going on and starts crying about needing more money.

    See the real problem here with public utilities is they own us plain and simple. When there is no competition they do as they please and what are the states going to say to the rate hikes, NO! Not hardly.

    See there is that ole lawyer thing called lobbyist who make sure all the utility regulators in the states give the utility company's what they want and break it off in the ass of the consumer.
