TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY'S NEW ANTI-DISCRIMINATION PROGRAM AND REACTION TO CITY COUNCIL BILLBOARD BLIGHT HYPOCRISY!!!



We don't always have to agree with TKC TIPSTERS in order to LISTEN to what they're saying . . . To wit . . .

Take a look at an example of a billboard (¡En español!) called out by a RATHER AWESOME TKC TIPSTER which points to a bit of hypocrisy by City Council.

Check it:

"For a town that hates billboards, the city apparently thinks they're a valuable marketing tool in their latest civil rights campaign."

The Kansas City Anti-Discrimination Campaign is championed by the Human Relations Division at City Hall that apparently hasn't taken a look at the number of women department heads currently working @ 12th & Oak.

    Better have a billboard that says "LEARN ENGLES! And a link to the Catholic Social Services, assuming they still teach ESL.

    And if NOT THEM, then the KCK public schools need to expand the programs beyond taxpayers still in puberty! They ARE the publicly funded education system, aren't they?

    I like this post. Ed Ford has been making a big stink about billboards for weeks, and the six south towners (with Frances Semler, too) who hate billboards manage to run their narrow agenda through City Council. This post is just one small indicator of the enormous dysfunction and hypocrisy at City Hall, and ESPECIALLY in the worthless Human Relations Dept.
