TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY PUSHBACK FOLLOWING BISHOP FINN GUILTY VERDICT!!! SNAP HOLDS WESTSIDE SUPPORT SESSION!!!

Aftershocks of the Bishop Finn verdict are still reverberating through Kansas City.
To wit . . .
TAKE A LOOK AT AN UPCOMING SNAP SUPPORT MEETING ON KANSAS CITY'S WESTSIDE IN THE LIGHT OF LOCAL CATHOLIC HARSH FEELINGS!!!
Here's the notice . . .
"The recent trial and conviction of KC Bishop Robert Finn has stirred many emotions among abuse victims and lay Catholics. In response, SNAP is holding a special support group meeting this Thursday at the Ruiz Library (14 West Tenth Street) in KC MO from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. This meeting is open to survivors, family members, supporters, and betrayed Catholics. For more information: SNAPdorris@gmail.com"
Meanwhile . . . Calls for Bishop Finn's resignation have increased and there have been a few reports of donations dwindling almost as fast as crowds @ 9/11 memorials.
DEVELOPING . . .
Nice Cheech photo.
ReplyDeleteAt least you are not calling it a conviction. Which it wasn't.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you JUMP Tony, every time SNAP clears their throats?
ReplyDeleteIt's SNAP that's trying to keep this alive...that's their whole reason for existing.
When I was younger, the arch bishop in the city in which I grew up was busted for DUI. News of his plight reached all of the way up to the Vatican. Their response? "What is an arch bishop doing driving himself? He should have a chaufer." Out of touch then; out of touch now.
ReplyDeleteBest ending to a joke on file - "So I said Monsignor, it's my anus. I'll do what I want to with it."
ReplyDeleteI have some very hard core Catholic friends and I promise you they won't stop paying money to the church. There are those who will no doubt and I think all Catholics should stop funding the church till the Vatican steps up and deals with this issue.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Super Dave. Practicing Catholics will not give up their faith. It's the lapsed Catholics who are working against the Church.
ReplyDeleteEpic Flop
ReplyDeleteThe only thing they should have faith in is their children getting fucked by Finn's priests.
ReplyDeleteCatholics are responsible for most of the bad shit going on in this country. LOL it's true.
ReplyDeleteWell true Catholics can be their own worse enemy at times.
ReplyDeleteSuperdave is right.
ReplyDeleteMoney is the universal lubricant.
Things will start squeaking pretty seriously for Finn when the cash goes dry.
Its difficult to make rational decisions when you're operating within a religious belief system.
ReplyDeleteSee Cairo, for an Islamic example.
If you want to kill me for saying there is no god, then why should I tolerate your delusional belief system? Aren't you a dangerous psychopath? Shouldn't I treat you accordingly?
The Church is pretty flush with cash with all the Catholic Radio 1090 billboards up in town. Wonder if they'll take ads from a strip club? KSW!

"Finn and the diocese stood trial Thursday on two charges each of failing to report suspected child abuse, misdemeanors, in the case. Finn was found guilty of one charge and given a suspended sentence of two years' probation. "
Which part of Judge+Defendant (Finn)+Trial+Verdit="GUILTY"= "CONVICTION" do you not get?

Jean was not mean enough. Jean got scared.
ReplyDeleteChuck, when the priest says, 'This is the body of Christ', do you ever feel like a cannibal.
ReplyDeleteCrazyAssReligiousPeople are dangerous psychopaths regardless of the flavor.
The Pope could suck a dick, in the middle of Time Square and most of the "faithful" would call it a miracle....
