Seven or eight murders a month. Nothing to be concerned about.
ReplyDeleteWell what can one say.
ReplyDeleteThe count will go higher because it's a fact a human life means very little to a lot of people anymore.
Sadly, I have to agree with Dave on this one.
ReplyDeleteKilla City making up for lost time and a higher body count.
ReplyDeleteIf people would discipline their children, they would not grow up to be disrespectful, rude, heartless, selfish thugs that think this kind of behavior is OK!!! Whip your kids ass a little and teach them RESPECT for rules and authority, you will never be visiting them in jail or go to their early funeral because someone got to them before YOU should have back when they were YOUNG!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut what about the big announcment by Forte on TV just last night that homicides were down this year so far.
ReplyDeleteOf course he didn't mention it was only three less, now two, year-to-date.
KCMO agencies have gone for years passing out pr , dog-and-pony shows, and assertions they know are flat out wrong, because folks no longer know or care.
Mission accomplsihed!
Everyone needs to realize that it is the culture of the ghetto that is causing these homicides. Not lack of police, not lack of police leadership, simply the thug culture that is spreading like a pandemic. Until THAT is addressed, you will continue to see homicides increase. Plain and simple. As a KCPD officer I see it everyday, and it is not going anywhere.
ReplyDeleteBS. I'm a 17 year veteran KCPD Officer. The Police Dept has tied our hands and not allowed police work. Homicides went through the roof after cameras were placed in our patrol cars. Let the police do their jobs. It's ugly, and people don't want to talk about or read it, but it needs to get back to the old ways. If parents don't want to be patents, let the police handle it their way. Stop trying to second guess and moday quarterback everything officers do. The cameras need to go.
DeleteNo, the cameras need to stay Boss Hog! You are the reason the cameras are there and also the reason my phone camera is on everyone I see one of you ignorant, uneducated, hillbillies make a stop!
DeleteYou're an idiot. I can't argue with a person like you. I can't even understand your reply. Try proof reading before you post.
DeleteNothing to see here, move along. Forte is on it. Super Cheeef has solved all our problems.
ReplyDeleteThe thug culture may be causing this but that's why we have prisons. Ten years in prison can change an attitude. Of course if we persist in filling our prisons with druggies and DUI offenders there is no room for the real thugs.
ReplyDeleteThen why have drug/drunk driving laws if they cant go to jail?
DeleteIdle hands and all that...U/E among black youth (U-25) is 30%...dropout rate in KCMO schools is near 60%...but by God they've got there 2nd admendment rights to exercise, right?
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd amendment is only applicable to legally possessed firearms. Nice try though.
DeleteOK so I have lived in 4 different states and so far everywhere I live, this shit does not happen where I live. I have always lived in white areas and don't seem to have to wonder if I will be coming home alive at the end of the day. But everywhere I live this is a problem in the black community.
ReplyDeleteTypical liberal response on here, "See another racist just spouting off at the mouth, blah blah blah"
Well facts are facts my liberal douche bags and next you all will tout that we need to spend more tax dollars for programs and other meaningless bullshit for these people. These people are beyond saving, that is their culture, it won't change!!! EVER!!!!
The comments from the KCPD officer are exactly right. Without some serious leadership on the east side which empowers invidiuals and neighborhoods to contribute to their own safety, cooperate with the police and share information, stop making excuses and blaming others for outrageous behavior which is destroying lives and neighborhoods, and moves beyond the tired old victimization/entitlement/extortion routines of the 60s, the black community will continue to destroy itself and there's little the rest of society can or will do except to get out of the way.
ReplyDeleteGrant, Tindall, Curls, Bland, Adams,Cleaver, Hughes,Brooks, Miles...the list goes on and on.
As long as "getting mine" is what passes for leadership on the east side the tragedies and the fall will continue.
Let these "creatures" kill themselves! In fact, let's help them all we can..
ReplyDeleteActually cities with thug cultures have been quite successful at reducing crime through police leadership and community/government involvement. NY is a great example. But the leaders have to lead.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have the leaders to lead. On a positive note, you are all cordially invited to Volker and Troost (on the bridge??WTF) for a CITY PAID party for the youth. That's right, there will be 10 Off duty officers for the 5 hour party at $35.00 an hour, and 10 additional ON DUTY personel. Food?, Drinks?, Entertainment?, what else can we provide with my tax dollars to the urban This is complete and utter bullshit. People you need to show up and vote out the entire council and the mayor and put an end to all this retarded spending.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when streets were blocked off and off duty cops deployed for that stupid baseball thingy!
DeleteLet's just go ahead now, and rename KC. How about MartinLutherKingville? Or North Jesse Jackson, Missouri?? Maybe even Sharpton City, Missouri? Hell, we just as well, we're slowly giving it to the bastards everyday.
ReplyDeleteWell, we know it won't be called Honkey Town because whites are in the minority. LOL!
DeleteKC has been imploding for many years, and will continue to, same as Detroit, St Louis, the list goes on.
ReplyDelete7:42 has it correct, "Everyone needs to realize that it is the culture of the ghetto that is causing these homicides. Not lack of police, not lack of police leadership, simply the thug culture that is spreading like a pandemic."
1:21 calls it the "thug culture" but we ALL know it's just NIGGERS! Nothing more, nothing less.
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting. Actually, by my count, this is homicide no. 64 for 2012--compared to 67 at this point last year. Interestingly, KCK is currently on schedule to have the lowest homicide totals since 1980--while KCMO for 2012 will probably be only slightly lower than the totals for the terrible "crack wars" of the early 1990's. KCK, NYC, Washington, DC are all having record low homicide totals for 2012--so it is nonsensical to blame KCMO's homicide problems on national trends like the economy and lack of gun control. Time for the city's leaders to face up to the fact that the city's crime problems are due to mistakes on their part, and to act to correct those mistakes. Take care!! Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
ReplyDeleteWhiz, we're only three murders behind last year and these dimwits are calling it an improvement? What the fuck, the jigs'll kill off three more in no time and the count will be equal or better too last year. Just watch. Black KC won't let you down..
ReplyDeleteMaybe not, just maybe they'll puff you and we won't have to endure your ignorance and stupidity anymore. One can hope!
DeletePuff you? Ok..... must be some cool urban language. You guys are so cool. Have fun in the war zone.
DeleteI don't live in the war zone, as you call it! Guess where I live. LOL
