#RaiseTheWage rally in KC

It's a nice sentiment that's not entirely relevant as global economic turmoil gives way to fear of yet another U.S. Recession.

Update: Protesters hit the streets in 17 cities across the country, including Kansas City, calling for an increase to the federal minimum wage.

  1. Let's raise the minimum wage to $25.00 an hour. How about it Tony? Agree with me or tell me why I am wrong

  2. Many candidates were not in attendance including those that claim to support labor. Make sure you remember that on 8-7-12.

  3. Mike Sharp wasn't there

  4. Does this mean another ticket price increase at the sports stadiums? I mean between McDonalds and the "professional" sports stadium crew we pretty much have minimum wage covered.

  5. A union man asked me for my support for this. He claimed that people can't live on the current minimum wage and I said they also can't live on the new minimum wage that is being proposed and I told him to make it $20 per hour and I would support it, he said "we couldn't do that" why not and he just walked away
