TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! AN AMAZING GLIMPSE OF THE "RECALL REED" EFFORT!!!

Thanks to a BAD-ASS TKC TIPSTER who recently took an AMAZING SHOT OF A "RECALL REED" SIGN in order to document this Kansas City voter petition effort.

It really is an AWESOME PHOTO . . . Click the image or this link to take a bigger, better look.

It's unwise to speculate on the chances of the petitioners. What's more productive: Kansas City elected officials should recognize the discontent among so many residents of local neighborhoods who often feel disenfranchised and disengaged from a process that only seems to serve elites and their career ambitions.

No matter what the outcome. The "Recall Reed" effort was successful in reminding this City Council in the midst of out of control spending spree that they ultimately will answer to voters.

DEVELOPING . . .

Comments

  1. They WON"T have to answer to the voters. The voters will be tricked and scared into voting for more money for city hall just like they always are.
TKC just had a blog about Jeff Roe's campaign for the zoo. That was kids' stuff. Just wait to see what's coming up for the real money!

  4. Seems increasing the salestax for parks away from property taxes will shift the burden to people who spend all their money in KCMO. Poor and middle class. KCMO residents should pay for parks because primarily, they are the only ones that use them when they're not paying admission.

  5. Just AMAZING!!! Ansel Adams would be creaming in his dungarees over this shot.

  6. I can't believe that Jermaine is so stupid to think holding up the East Patrol station will help get the unhappy constituents off his back. He's supported the project forever, then when a few petitions are waved under his nose, he immediately backs down. What kind of spine does this guy posses? I'll tell you... The squishy kind. The traditional grifters will eat him for lunch. Reed has just shown his true colors, and courage, perseverance, integrity and pride are not in his box of crayons.
