We've been hearing whining about Jackson County candidates filing hard feelings for years now . . . But now the hot mess could soon come to a vote. And Garza Ruiz should get the win.

That honor formerly belonged to Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders.
Where does that leave him? Without his coveted "reformer" credentials The Jackson County Executive doesn't have much of an identity as a politico or any narrative for another run.
And all of this could set up a face-off between a powerful Kansas City political lady and a guy who was formerly one of this town's brightest stars.

ReplyDeleteThey should disallow the use of County Facilities for Democrat Committee meetings while they are at it. That is public, non-partasan property. If Garza goes that far then she is a reformer. Grounds and Spence should demand an amendment to that effect for their votes.
