Description of a recent Youtube video: "K.C. School District Superintendent John Covington discusses why the city needs to close 26 of 61 schools."
A lesson in disparity and discourse: Education cuts in every other part of the nation are lamented but in Kansas City a move that would disproportionately impact minority communities is celebrated as if displacing students and firing teachers would have a benefit to education within the district.
Would those in the district prefer much higher taxes to keep half-empty schools open instead?
ReplyDeletei would pay much more in taxes if they were actually TEACHING my children, instead of what passes for the KCMSD today.
ReplyDeleteIt will benefit the community, Tony-Taco
ReplyDeleteLook, the school district DOES suck. But seriously, this douche from Fox news is a shitty journalist and trying to hang this on Covington. Shit, he's the guy tryin' to fix the problem. They should've put Arthur Benson on this show. He's one of the a-holes who actually was around when all of this crap happened.
ReplyDeleteI want to become a KCMSD superintendent so that I can fuck up everything and be PAID to leave. I'm certainly not against a golden parachute if it's MY golden parachute.
ReplyDelete10:42, Benson wasn't just any a-hole that was around when this crap happened... he was the numero uno a-hole who helped cause it to happen and made MILLIONS from it, all way educating his spawn at Pembroke-Hill.
