18 Murders In Kansas City So Far!!!

Crime Scene KC Reports: "KC homicide count stands at 18 compared to 23 at the same point last year. So far, three of this year's homicides have been cleared. When you count older cases that were solved in 2010, the clearance rate is 50 percent."

It's nice that the murder count is a tad lower and KCPD is working hard to solve crimes. Still, it hasn't really warmed up so local homicides, sadly, aren't in full gear.

  1. TKC is obviously a champion of reducing the murder rate, and I've seen him out at a bunch of community meetings and vigils dedicated to stopping the insanity in our streets.

But Tony, really, you need to do more.

The next murder I read about I'm going to hold you personally responsible for. I want to see TKC's chubby ass out there taking bullets for the people he cares so much about. You preach a fine game about everybody else not doing anything, so why don't you lead by example.

  2. Tonys not being paid to be a cop.

We're suppose to have a KCPD police department that does that but let's face it their incompetent and out of date with modern crime fighting techniques.

  6. So if KCPD is out of date, what is the new and modern way to fight crime? If you cannot answer, kindly STFU.

  7. Modern Police Work, Including Detective Duty; A Book for Police Officers of All Ranks; National in Scope by James Joseph Skehan.

Of course I noticed you've never answering anything with any intelligence. So STFU amateur. You must work for the local yokels.

  8. Wait... on Wednesday you claimed the murder rate is going up, but these numbers show it's currently down.

    Spin it, Tony.

  9. Dear 10:59: What Tony was referring to in his earlier post is that in the past three years (2008/2009/2010) the number of black homicides in KCMO has surged sharply over the numbers in 2007. Actually, our city's homicide stats move in "parallel universes": Since 2007 white/hispanic/asian homicides in KCMO have actually declined slightly, while black homicides have increased significantly. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans PS: Remember, politicians like those running KCMO use statistics the way drunks use lampposts: For support, not for illumination--so view with great caution politicians claiming "crime is down in KCMO."

  10. I agree Ernest Evans well said.

Don't forget how KCPD does this too.
To get more money out of taxpayers.

  12. Wow 5:22. Modern Police Work book eh? That is what you contribute? My hat is off to you. You pick a book written in 1939 and cite it as up-to-date. I laugh at your attempt to add to the discussion and now know you for what you really are...an idiot. Thanks for playing.

  13. i have a question. what can a middle aged white guy who lives in KCMO do to help? I work 50+ hours a week and have a spouse and family that make a lot of demands on my time besides all the stuff i like to do when i'm not working. Is there any way i can effectively help reduce the murder rate in KC? i'm not willing to put my own life on the line to do so and anyone who does is an idiot. Just so we all know... what the fuck can anyone do to help this situation? If you oppose what is happening it's your responsibility to propose a way to fix it... Tony you are the voice of opposition. You can't sit idly by blogging about problems you're not willing to tackle yourself. What are you willing to do to help? I'll roll my sleeves up and work right next to you whatever you decide to do.

Right... it wasn't written in 1939.
And of course what did you contribute... zero.. zippo.

If you work and pay taxes which i think you do... then your tax money is being used to support the police department. It's the police department that suppose to be the crime experts, unfortunately kcmo is being short changed.

  18. You gotta be Alonzo. You never talk about people being responsible for their own actions. Raise your kids, stop abandoning your children, take them to library's, museum's, let them listen to more than Wacka Flocka, and Soldier Boy, broaden their minds, or ...........blame it on the KCPD cause they can't stop your children from murdering each other. This will never change until your community can change!

  19. Sounds just like a cop, failure to fight crime.
Can't get the job done. So blame it on someone else.

When crime goes down well it's the Police who are doing a good job fighting crime... When crime goes up well it's the parents fault.

  20. I aint no f@ckin cop! All cop's can do is show up after you shoot somebody, they got their own kid's to raise. They don't have time to raise your's too!......next time your nieghbor's son shoot's some other teenager, call Alonzo see if he'll come down and pick up the body for ya.
