TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! THE STAR'S INK MAG FAILS READERS WHO SHOULD BEWARE OF THE WALDO RAPIST!!!

So I was waiting for Chinese food just a few moments ago and I took a few seconds to glance at the latest issue of Ink.

I did see a rather gully mention of this blog from one of my favorite celebrities currently residing in Kansas City.

And then I noticed something out of place . . . On my mobile I noticed information, views and all kinds of content regarding The Feared Waldo Rapist was blowing up but the paper in my hands didn't have ANY information on the subject.

TRAGICALLY THE LATEST ISSUE OF INK MAGAZINE HAS ALMOST NO INFORMATION RELATED TO THE WALDO RAPIST WITHIN THEIR PAGES DESPITE THE FACT A GREAT MANY OF THEIR READERS FACE THE POTENTIAL DANGER!!!

Like it or not, or whether you agree with my incisive political wit . . . TKC has put the topic of The Waldo Rapist on blast.

And it doesn't make sense that Ink is ignoring the subject.

Think about it:

  • The Waldo Rapist is targeting young women who live alone.

  • The Waldo Rapist is lurking in neighborhoods filled to the brim with potential Ink readers or at least young professional that fit the demographic that a desperate dead tree publication would like to garner.

  • The Waldo Rapist is THE most popular subject of (mostly racist) conversation at local hangouts.

DOES THE STAR'S INK MAG WANT TO EXCLUDE MINORITIES FROM KANSAS CITY'S SOCIAL SCENE SO BADLY THAT THEY'LL IGNORE THE WALDO RAPIST SIMPLY TO MAKE LOCAL CLUB LIFE SEEM LESS DANGEROUS?!?!?

  • In my opinion, it's strictly an ad play. Finicky entertainment advertisers don't like bad news. But it sets a horrible precedent. Ink is supposed to be a training ground of sorts and ignoring this subject simply because it's unpleasant is really a betrayal of even a modicum of those so-called journalistic standards that everyone at The Star seems to tout despite much evidence of their practice.

Ignoring reality at Ink is one of the many reasons I take issue with so many young, female newsies employed by The Star and why I feel they might need some private instruction here in my mom's basement. This Gen-Y noticeable lapse of important news might also be a reason that so many younger people are not just turning away from dead tree media but news in general.

    3. this is just brain-dead stupid, especially considering your Patrick Tuohey-driven contributions.

      hey hey tuohey,
how much did tony earn today?

    4. Umm first you complain of all the hype surronding the rapist and now you complain for the lack of hype. Which is it?

    5. ^5 8:42. I've been thinking the exact same thing.

    6. This is an example of how unclear the thinking is on this blog. It seems to be driven totally by his desire to get a reaction, not by sober analysis.

    7. Please white people don't think every black man is the Waldo rapist and follow strangers to Kansas then complain that you almost got shot. Stupid bastards!

    8. I hope they catch this fuck if only to shut Tony the hell up.

    9. a few days ago somebody said that Tony supports the waldo rapist. at first I thought that was ridiculous but if you think about it makes sense.

Tony thrives when people are untrusting of each other and throwing around accusations. He can point fingers and call people racist when they behave badly or act scared about what might happen to their loved ones.

Tony doesn't give two shits about this town or about the well being of the people who live here. There are never helpful suggestions or ways things might be better. Just nasty comments about how everyone has evil and racist motivations.

He likes the climate of fear and mistrust the Waldo racist help bring about. It's a big opportunity for him. His traffic is probably way up because his tastelessness is in full effect in a situation like this. If you want some real sober and thoughtful commentary, go to midtown miscreant. Tony is a broken record, and a self-contraditory one at that.

He might not support the act of rape itself, but he does everything he can to exploit it.

    14. Wait a second, isn't not making a big deal out of this -- something that may happen weekly in Kansas City -- what you wanted?

Oh wait, INK/Star ignores you a viable news source and now you're pissed?

Sorry you didn't get the job, huh?

      ReplyDelete
    15. Don't give Tony too much credit that he was looking for a job.

      Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

    16. Ink's lead story this week was about the frustrations of young white people to find a date, with counseling from other equally insipid fools.

Their demographic of young twenty somethings is more like kids in high school. A bunch of kids who don't want to grow up.

Sounds like the beaner's got some rape fantasies of his own, however methinks the only thing that Tony has been able to force himself on is a pair of crusty tube socks.
