Not so long ago . . . Gloria Squitiro said she was writing a book.
Well, it
Like it or not (I don't) Gloria Squitiro runs Kansas City and I'm kind of flattered she's thinking of TKC.
UPDATE: OOPS Helling was quoting me. I really need to start reading their blog more closely. (No I don't)
Apologies to Squitiro . . . Her writing doesn't include TKC . . . Yet.
Leaving this post up to prove my greatness, Could have easily deleted it. Corrected in less than an hour after writing thanks to TKC Commenters.
Remember, this blog is a conversation . . . Kinda.
You're being made fun of here, dude, and I don't think you realize it. The Star can make fun of you because you make fun of them after all, in fact, they could spend all day poking holes in your SCOOPS from AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS!!!!! if they wanted to.
ReplyDeleteEspecially after yesterday's little onslaught.
You remember yesterday, right?
"Tony Botello's credibility plane was shot down over the Internet. It spun in...there were no survivors."
man, you are dense. like black hole dense. it was bad enough at the journalism/democracy forum last month, but this is ridiculous. you have no idea, do you?
ReplyDelete"writes Tony Botello"?? No it's not saying that Gloria is writing anything? Do you not get that? I thought you had a fairly good understanding of grammar, but it appears it has failed you today. Well better luck next time.
ReplyDeleteTony you really fucked this up. I can't write my comment in big print with a crayon, so just pretend with me. I'll translate this into something you might understand.

TONY MISSES THE CLUE TRAIN
Tony Botello said on his blog that Gloria Squitiro is "reason enough to keep control of the KCPD far away from Kansas City."
Hello?!, her husband, Mark Funkhouser, IS ON THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS!
---
Wow!! Major Fail!! On Tonys part.
ReplyDeleteHelling is making fun of you pendejo!!! Learn what a fucking comma means.
ReplyDeleteThe New York Times article provides the proof that Funk is in violation of the Nepotism prohibition in the state constitution. If she is working on city business 50 hours a week then it is nepotism.
ReplyDeleteThe current Police Board system sucks. The Star or the bloggers should look into the fact that Pat McInerney hired a lobbyist in order to get appointed to the police board.
Way to go, motherfucker!
ReplyDeleteFor once you anony d-bags from The Star are correct.
ReplyDeleteMy post was corrected in less than an hour after is was published.
Thanks to you good people!!!
Don't feel bad Tony. Dave is a great reporter but a horrible writer. Most of the time it's hard for me to make out what he's trying to convey as well.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, comma, misplaced, creates jilted sentences, frequently.
