The Missouri Court of Appeals upholds Kansas City's smoking ban. And there's a little less freedom in this town, especially when it comes to giving servers cancer.

lame. I don't want to make a federal case to smoke but waitresses can find other jobs. This legislation has killed the restaurant industry as well.

Neither are government mandated smoking bans.
Since when do business owners get to decide which health standards they choose to follow? Are you telling me as a restaurant/bar owner you're in violation of health code standards?
ReplyDeleteBut wait--Hearne Christopher assured us in several blog posts that this law would be overturned. Maybe he didn't go to law school, but I'm sure his life experience has provided him the equivalent of a law degree.
