ReplyDeleteGreat, now that we're spending money for biker riders, will we be requiring them to get licenses and insurance specific to their biking habits? Will they be policed for exceeding outside their bike lanes and disrupting traffic. Will they finally start obeying the traffic laws that the rest of us are subject to? How are they going to share the cost of widening existing roads (cutting down more trees and acquiring more right of ways)and paving more bike lanes?
ReplyDeleteOn the flip side just because KCMO says developers have to study a traffic impact, it doesn't say it has to do anything to appease the biking crowd. Even if it did I would suggest you check out how well the city is doing trying to enforce the MBE/WBE programs and how easily developers get around those. So good luck numbnuts.
i'm with you tony. those critical ass asswipes are a bunch of crybabies. lots KCAI students involved. they cruise around acting cool while flipping drivers off and generally making a nuisance of themselves. a bunch of fake boho's living off of mommy and daddy while pleading poverty on their $1000+ bikes.

i've started carrying 1" dowel rods about 2ft long in my car. i pull up next to a biker and jam one in their front wheel. the resulting crash/burn flip is very satisfying. i've gotten a few already this spring...
