Flurry of Activity from Funkhouser Camp

The Co-Mayors are obviously in a panic . . . I've watched their blog from the start and it's mostly full of lame, out-of-date posts regarding the Mayor's schedule that come way too late to be useful.

Accordingly . . . Somebody, I have no idea who, must have put the word out that that it needs to look like the Mayor's been doing something other than working on his second job.

To wit, poor Crispin might have been forced to take a break from foot massage duty in order to put some posts and feign support for The Co-Mayors on the Internet.

An update on a nearly month-old Police meeting that was poorly attended after Mayor Funky failed to bring them any money and mostly served to hurt their cause.

A three week old Swope Park meeting . . . Mayor Funky is offering quotes and support and strangely seems to be writing his own news . . . Which I guess is the purpose of a blog and maybe the last resort of a guy who can't really find any good news as of yet.

Memories of Southeast KC Townhall meeting . . . More promises that "New Tools" will save Kansas City despite the fact that it's only served as a desperate attempt to buy support from people who took the money and then looked the other way when Funky needed help.

It would be funny if it was happening in some other city. Unfortunately, this bloggy PR blitz is kind of pathetic and comes off like some kind of daily affirmation in the face a dark time for the current Mayor and his wife.
