KMBC excerpts a bit of the Squitiro deposition and talks with a City Councilman. The woman who called one of her staffers "Mammy" plays "blame the Black dude" and once again refuses to take personal responsibility for her own behavior . . . TKC is waiting for the TV report in which the Co-Mayors attempt to blame County Exec Mike Sanders, since that's what the online chatter seems to leading up to . . . Ugh.

ReplyDeleteThere has always been an organized effort to discredit the mayor. To be fair he gives his opponents plenty to work with but they will never let up until they get a mayor who will start the TIFs rolling again.
ReplyDeleteSanders has to remove Funk from the mix in order to have a clear shot at the White vote in the 5th Congressional District, so he has had Pat O'Neill working on destroying Funk since before the mayor took office. He even tried to convince the mayor to take advice from O'Neill in order to undermine the mayor and First Lady. Sanders knows no limits to his deceptions.

ReplyDeleteWhat is this bizarre obsession with sanders. Every time I open the commetns section of this BLOG, there is some new conspiracy theory about how he has "brought Funk down." First, it always sounds like total BS. Second, I can only hope he is trying to stop the worst mayor this city has ever seen.
