$30 Million for Soccer in Kansas City

Down the Byline (Kansas City's best soccer blog) reports: Today the Missouri Finance Board has approved the $30 million tax credit for Lane4 and OnGoal for the Three Trails development at the old Bannister Mall site. According to the blog they're soon to start demolition of the old mall (not a bad thing at all) and this town takes a HUGE gamble that soccer fans can spark economic renewal.

  3. Cliff, Neal, and soccer in general are pathetic motherfuckers.

Non-athletic little men in short pants running up and down a field yelling, "I keeeeck a touchdown!"

    This is $30 million wasted.

KC need to go after business from New York,LA and other big city's now that times are tough. We have a great airport and cheaper rent. Sports teams just won't do it.most of the players don't even live here.
