Who (or what) are TKC readers voting for?

I'm just wondering who or what TKC reading d-bags are voting for so I can vote the opposite way . . . If you have any suggestions please let me know. A very smart reader asked for me to put together a ballot or a voter guide and this'll be the closest I get to research.

  1. I'm voting "no" on the home health care deal. According to folks much smarter and more into this issue than me, there are several issues here:
    1. It's a veiled attempt at "unionizing" HHC workers without actually getting them to vote on a union.
    2. There's increased training and qualification requirements for HHC workers, but no provision for more money to pay for them, so HHC costs are going to go up. Unfunded mandate.
    3. Increased education requirements for HHC workers do not necessarily make a better HHC worker. Therefore, is an unnecessary addition regulation.

  3. No on light rail. Reasons have been well covered here already.

  4. No niggers for president!

  5. Bob Barr for president. Obama or McCain, it doesn't matter, they are bought bought and paid for by the same special interests.

  6. Obviously, "no" on the english language amendment. And that's only to piss off the rednecks that will also be voting for McCain.

  7. No on the casino issue. Raising loss limits only takes more money from the poor to profit casino owners and who knows whether or not the rest of the money gets spent correctly.

  8. I want to lose my check at the casino so I'm voting for Prop A. I could give a damn about the students.

  9. And of course, I'll be voting all sitting judges out. Everybody needs to start throwing out ALL incumbent judges in order to mix things up.

  11. Good stuff but the JoCo ballot isn't nearly as exciting as KC.

You people are going to have to live with Dennis Moore whether you like it or not.

  12. I voted early(absentee)---for Obama, against light rail, against Prop A...next Tuesday's going to be interesting. I hope the racist anonymous who used the n-word gets used to saying "President Obama..."
