Summer Reading in Kansas City

A recent paparazzi photo set of Claire Danes got me thinking about how I was spending my summer. So far it has been pretty fun but I haven't been as productive as I would like (my video game chair recently broke - Don't laugh, I was nearly killed) . . . Additionally, so much of Kansas City entertainment fare is geared toward either "Hipsters or Hillbillies"© that no one can blame me for not being too interested.

Nevertheless, I agree with the old adage which states that "if you're bored than you're boring." So I've been actively trying to find some fun, local and free activities.

I've been waiting for the new Whitney Terrell book. And I realize that I've only finished half of The Huntsman.

I've achieved master class status on Puzzle Farter - I conquered all 50 levels. Twice.

Just like Claire Danes featured above, I've been trying to get a lot more reading done. Sadly, none of it applies to Kansas City so it's no use blogging here . . .

And, I've even managed to take a few photos of downtown buildings like very d-bag with a nice camera in Kansas City.



I would ask how you are spending your summer but I don't really care . . . I can only advise to enjoy it while it lasts. To be honest, I don't really mind the heat and the longer days are pretty damn awesome.
