The Star is for blog debunking!!!

Because TKC is a much more talented writer (even with typos), funnier and far more insightful that 9 out of 10 hacks at The Star . . . Whenever they've attempted to correct me, I've battled back with jokes, facts, cursing and a lot of bluster. Then they get embarrassed and refuse to link me for a couple of weeks . . . But this blog is aboutentertainment not trying to influence a political system that most people find far too boring to even take part. So, I wonder what the outcome of their recent correction of Jeff Roe will be . . . In The Star's dead tree world, attacking credibility would be embarrasing and might cause folks to stop reading because the cost, time and space taken up by a real world publication wouldn't be worth the effort if the source wasn't credible . . . However, in the digital world (because of nearly limitless and cheap bandwidth) the reference (good or bad) simply stirs up traffic and interest . . . To battle this, The Star has taken the childish way out and didn't provide a link to Roe's blog and thereby demonstrated their own lack of Internet ethics.

Once again, The Star's dead tree mindset doesn't really discredit anyone but only serves to demonstrate that they don't understand the way that media will work in the future.

  1. You're a delicate little pinhead to be talking about credibility. You're not the "future of media," you're the CB Radio of the 00's. Quit kidding yourself.

And if you hate The Star so much, why not quit linking to their news coverage? Why? Because if they put all their news behind a paywall, you and the TV stations would be warming over calendar items. Put your dinero where your boca is, puto.

Fuck the future - the Star doesn't know how shit works NOW. I doubt they understand yesterday well, either.
