A Kansas City comic book on cable?

Apparently, the Thunder Road guys are pitching their comic book (which started as an Internet/cell phone venture) to the guy's at Adult Swim. Even better, the content sounds pretty captivating and the TV execs don't seem to want to tone it down:
Nobody questioned a comic that included drug use, drinking and driving, copious amounts of violence, child endangerment, cults and rockabilly music.
Actually, I think it would be great if this local comic met with a bit of success not only because I'm tired of watching Family Guy reruns but also because it's pretty kick ass.

  4. Thanks for the props! I'm hoping beyond hope that we'll be able to make this happen, as I'd love to make it as much of a KC show as possible. We've got great animation studios, outstanding bands (I made The Silvermen promise me they'd do music for the thing if it ever became a cartoon... suckers!) and lots of voice talent that's born to make this thing soar.
