Rising tide of new taxes proposed to pay for Kansas City's wastewater system

What a waste . . . Years of water infrastrucutre neglect will now be passed on with new taxes.

Luckily, KC's Mayor is busy working on his light rail plan!!! Meanwhile, a more productive and much less glamorous bi-state water infrastrucutre solution is basically ignored by the Funky Bunch.

  1. Sewers are not glamorous which is why the Rev and Barnes wouldn't go near them. Thanks to their lack of effort the whole process is one billion more expensive.
Of course you can add a lot to that for the things they did support which will be bankrupting the city long term.

  2. Good point DKC. I only wonder if Beth Gottstein is going to have something to say about this subject or is she still trying to wrap her head around the smoking ban?

  4. Well, we could have a cookie fundraiser. Or better yet we could have Chief Corwin arrest people and they can only get let out by paying a contribution to the sewer fund. I am sure we still have poster board and crate paper from the campaign. We could like rent out Sprint Center and decorate it just so. This is going to be SO fun and we might get some cute guys there too. I know I am ALMOST a senior but experience is good too! giggle.

But that mean old Tony will probably write mean things about all this. He is a God Damn Independent! EW I hate those guys!
