The Star spins economic data and keeps their readers in the dark

This headline in the Star is just sad: Economic forecast sees resiliency, not recession, in 2008

Meanwhile, every economist back here in reality sees a recession on the horizon.

In the end, I guess I'd rather have The Star report happy news and PR copy because it gives local bloggers more credibility and reveals that there is not a single news source under the sun that doesn't have an agenda or a particular bias.

  1. Which is worse, TKC alone posting stories on New Years Eve or me alone reading them?

  2. 2008 will be the year that celebrity wealth goes into hiding. A land full of people crying into their foreclosure notices will take a dim view of the Donald Trumps and P. Diddys luxuriating out there and may come looking for scalps.
