Tech N9ne is one of the greatest and most successful rappers ever to come out of Kansas City. Contrastingly, Mac Lethal is a local scumbag who seems to be promoting the image of himself as the 4th (non-Jewish) Beastie Boy with little more than a nice blurb from Rolling Stone and serious Eminem complex. Put simply, Mac Lethal is the Pat Boone of Kansas City hip-hop. However, most casual music listeners might not realize this off the bat so Jason "Trying way to hard to be butch" Harper held an interview with both of them in order to convey the false notion that the two are on the same playing field. The Tech N9ne part of the interview was informative and entertaining while Mac's quotes left me hoping the guy goes back to working at whatever Insurance agency he left not so long ago.

Are you just trying to get Mac to comment again? Do you miss him?

ReplyDeleteI don't care who you are...that's funny.
Other than that, I have no opinion of the KC hip-hop scene. On the whole, I think hip-hop sucks (no homo).
Heather, that picture of you that you have up now is so much flattering than the old one!

ReplyDeleteTechn9ne is kinda played out. He was good for one or two albums but I'm not seeing any quality recently.
ReplyDeleteMac lethal never had any skills. He looks like a fat kid who is on the A/V club at Shawnee Mission South.
Apparently my old pic made me look like an old lady. I would have posted your pic, but I didn't want to scare small children.
ReplyDeleteHarper lost a good looking wife (she got bored) and now walks around looking lame behind cheap sunglasses. I think he is dealing with sexual identity issues, not that I would know.
ReplyDeleteyour really diversified in your cultural
