I set aside some time today to do a few bloggy posts but I'm typing this tripe upside down while sucking my thumb, crying and praying to Santa to take the pain away from me.
TKC injured the hell out of himself putting up X-mas lights (late, of course) and I'm pretty sure the scene looked like something out of Christmas Vacation to the outside observer. I'm guessing it was a curse from Gloria Squitoro but I have no proof other than a very handsome voodoo doll broken in half and left under my bed.
So, for the most part I'll be taking it easy as we approach X-mas.
For some strange reason I can't get that Sheena Easton/James Bond move song "For Your Eyes Only" out of my head . . . Therefore I'm thinking that my backache (which - admittedly - is getting better) could be psychosomatic and my way of dealing with the Holidays . . . Other than writing mean spirited garbage about everyone and everything that crosses my mind, of course.
Heh, instant karma's gonna getcha, hermano.
ReplyDeleteTrue enough. Christian Theology throughout the middle ages has taught us that people only get sick because they deserve it for a secret sin of some sort.
ReplyDeleteThe minute my back is completely healed, I'm going down to a pediatric cancer ward in order to share my newfound enlightenment with everyone.
I thought that didn't happened to mexicans? Oh wait....I was thinking of Mexicans who actually work for a living and who doesn't live in there moms basement.
ReplyDeleteIt's "their" idiot. If you're going to be a bigot, at least be an educated one.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!

It's what they live for.
I gave up X-mas for religious reasons 10 years ago, it put an end to all the Christmas Suffering in my life. It's nauseating, though, having to watch people I know to be greedy all of a sudden act all liberal and caring. If these same people gave a care during the other 11 months of the year, we'd live in a beautiful Utopia.
Also horrible having to watch talking heads go on about "X-mas Spirit". Never, ever once have I heard a newscaster say the words, "Holy Spirit". If people cared about that as much as they did the other, likewise, Utopia.
First post from Leigh Ann I've ever agreed with.
ReplyDeleteleigh ann still doesnt get it. She would be considered as a religious person instead of a christian.
ReplyDeleteUtopia, bad choice of words.
