Out of the basement and into a condo

Are you kidding, there's no way I can afford that . . . And where in the hell else am I gonna find the free use of a washing machine and dryer? However, while daydreaming (instead of working on something productive) I thought the plaza condo featured above seemed nice . . . Albeit, well out of my price range . . . I wonder if local real estate mogul and blogger has anything in the same area for the price of an empty refrigerator box. Come to think of it, I did see an empty refrigerator box near the Plaza the other day but my subprime lender just went out of business so I'm thinking about renting for the moment. Also, the "residence" was previously occupied by a Black couple and I want do to my best to avoid promoting gentrification.

  1. I used to live in that building before it went condo! I hope they solved the bat problem. And the no-central-air thing. If it doesn't suit you, don't worry. I think there are some more condos out there. They should get pretty cheap when the long-overdue bubble busts!

  2. You should try the Mark Twain. That place is a real shit hole that you could afford and they rent to your species. Just don't tell them you are moving in the rest of your family and you'll be ok.

  3. have you ever thought about buying some paint remover and walk to the wall along I-35 to clean it up.
This would be a great way to create neighborhood bonding. Have some neighbors cook some food up.
Or just turn it in a block party after your hard work.

  4. Why don't you blame someone in KC about your living situation. Clearly it must be KC's problem or fault that somehow you've ended up in your mom's basement although you're old enough to sport some gray hair. Please - do us all a favor and unplug your computer for the duration of your time on earth. Douche.
