Surface Parking Survives in Downtown KC!

It's ugly and it's not going away no matter how many millions are spent on the "renaissance" . . . On the bright side, more downtown parking is always a good thing even it it's horrible to look at . . . Here are the sad (for some) details: The properties, which take up the south side of 14th between Baltimore and Wyandotte streets, border the convention center complex and the Kansas City Power & Light District . . . “At this point, we have no plans other than creating some surface parking,” said Vice President Vince Dasta.

  1. If they try hard enough they can get the look of Overland Park sea of parking something like the Sprint Center in Kansas. WOOT
