L.A. writer and blogger Matt Welch points out an interesting article about legendary Dodgers commentator Vin Scully that is completely applicable here in Kansas City . . . Friendships among media pundits and players is cheapening the commentary. Also, it doesn't help that any consistently negative (i.e. realistic) coverage regarding KC's teams will get you blacklisted faster than you can say, "You're doing what to my press pass?"
