Today the FYI/Living section of The Star announces the winners of KC's most coveted loft/condo contest or whatever.
The honor goes to some 16 year-old girl and some guy with a low rent place in Shawnee.
And while most of the metro drooling over the living space of a teenager strikes me as creepy and part of the failure of capitalism on the same level of the forces that put Paris Hilton on TV for so long . . . I guess it's good to give people something to which they can aspire or at least distract folks from the many reasons they might legitimately have to be disgruntled, angry and concerned . . . Other than all of us desperately hoping and praying for Owen Wilson to be okay, of course.
The news report said he killed a beagle after he crashed his Porche into the front steps of a brownstone. Allegedly wearing facepaint and high on mescaline.
