I only hope that potential carjackers see this item and take note:

The incident happened about 10:30 p.m. at 40th Street and Warwick Boulevard. A man was sitting in his car when the suspect approached and demanded his car.
Instead of complying the man in the car pulled out a gun and shot the assailant.
I think more people will be arming themselves because of these carjackings.
