Steve Penn filed his usual happy story today . . . However, the subject of this story just happens to be a Latino that's on the opposite side of the political spectrum from your friend and hero TKC. Sadly, I had to promise that I wouldn't rip the subject of this story apart every time his name comes up in the news. I resent that fact because, TKC NEVER gets the same mercy and has never asked for it either.

(TKC is better looking, stronger and taller than Russell Crowe in real life.)
In fact, TKC has an open challenge to any one in Kansas City who wants to debate the issues . . . I will take the discourse to an insanely low level and I'm not afraid to challenge anyone to an online debate when it comes to the topics that concern this city. TKC never loses because the game is about being dragged down to my level while turning serious subject matter into entertainment. It's not subversive, and even my critics have to admit that it's slightly funny from time to time . . . But I realize that not everybody can be as hardbody, gully or superfantastique as TKC.
But from time to time I'm forced (i.e. guilt tripped) into showing mercy for the meek . . . The same kind of mercy that anti-immigration proponents like Parks Board appointee Frances Semler won't show to mojados.
Because I know that there will always be another opportunity to throw down in a dialogic sense or get into more useless (and hilarious) blogger beef I guess I have to let it go.
And because I know that, for the moment, TKC has already frightened everybody in the Funkhouser Administration so badly that they had my site blocked . . . Which not even Mayor Kay Barnes bothered to do . . . So I'm good. In fact, I can't think of a better advertisement for this blog other than the fact that people in power don't want you to read it!!!
Chea!!!!
So, with all that . . . Here's a profile of Crispin Rea!!!
Now I have to go find some other form or "release" since I've been holding back so much on this topic.

Rea has strong feelings about graffiti.
ReplyDelete“It leads to teen pregnancy,,,"
BWHAAAA!!!
OH!!
“Crispin is a lot of fun,” Funkhouser said. “He’s a surprisingly mature and level-headed guy for 21.
AHH!!! I can't take it! Make It Stop!! HAHAHA!!!
"TKC never looses...?"
ReplyDeleteEven if you were trying to un-tighten, that still wouldn't be right.
(Sorry, that's a huge pet peeve of mine.)
What is this post about? It doesn't make any sense.
ReplyDeleteThe main difference I see between Tony and Crispin Rea (other than looks and Tony being twice his age) is that Crispin seems to put his energy into coming up with positive ideas and bringing people together, while Tony puts all of his energy into spewing nastiness disguised as "humor" and ripping people apart online, which I'm sure really helps his precious Latino community.
ReplyDeleteTranslation from Tonyspeak:
ReplyDelete1. Tony is a jealous dude without a real gig.
2. Tony hates anybody who is more successful than he is.
3. TKC is being kind of racist because he is going to stop criticizing the only Latino member of Mayor Funkhouser's administration.
4. TKC only wishes he was as good as Crowe in Gladiator. That movie was the balls and Tony is nothing but a blogger with a lot of complaints.
5. I guess La Raza is like vampires. They aren't supposed to kill their own.
Oh yeah, I forgot the real biggest difference bwteen Tony and Crispin. Crispin has a job!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, and Crispin is wet behind the ears, worked for Funk like a dog and the Hispanic community got table scraps as a result. So, now Crispin is our great brown hope!
ReplyDeleteHe is the highest ranking Hispanic in the Funkhouser administration and we are supposed to be grateful.
Like having the first Hispanic park board president named to lead a board, at the same time the funk appoints a member who has racist affiliations with a group that targets Hispanics. Way to bring people together, funk.
The funk gives and the funk taketh away.
Actually, can't wait until the funk comes back to the Hispanic community when he begins to run for re-election in two years. That should be fun, maybe even funky and not in a good way.
Hey 9:08 give Crispin ten years and we'll see who is leading the Hispanic community. There are people out there (in the hispanic community) who are upset with where Crispin because...
ReplyDelete1. He didn't come through their political circle and is therefore not beholden to them.
2. Until now he wasn't on their radar screen and if they don't know you than you're not important. (TKC)
3. He has a future ahead of him that none of their children have.
But you know what, as young and inexperienced as he is-why are the older battle hardened leaders not in his place? Or in any place in City Hall? It would be good to be on his good side because in ten years the same people who are bithcing won't be running the show. He might be table scarps now but in a decade you'll be on his nuts.
why are the older battle hardened leaders not in his place?
ReplyDelete-----------------------------------
Because for years and still today the only way to get get ahead at City Hall is to become a complete and total f*cking sell out.
Take that any way you'd like. But look at who is there and you can do the math yourself.
By the way it's funny to see all these anonymous white people so eager to pick the leadership in the Latino Community.
You pale faces don't know the first thing about how OUR community works and the only names you know are the ones the media tells you about. There are leaders all over the Latino community and just because they aren't in the paper or on TV doesn't mean they don't exist.
Yea, the Hispanic community gets a 21 year old to represent them. That's progress!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know my dog could have came up with some of what this guy has proposed.
ReplyDeleteWhat you people don't see is that this is just Mark Funkhouser catering to a different group of Mexicans. Just like Mike Sanders who ran one group of Blacks out of the County only to have them replaced with an equally nasty bunch.
That's the defineition of insanity.People need to learn that only their merit and skills will get them a good job and not their race.
Hey Tony when do you think Nadia Pflaum and her homosexual friends at The Pitch are going to stop showing up in your comments and hassling you?
ReplyDelete10:04am, probably when they block this site at the Pitch, too. Then maybe they might use their work time to put out a decent paper, instead of the garbage wrap they work on now in between posts to and about this blog.
ReplyDeleteCrispin got his start in politics when he worked for Charlie Shields last year. Then he volunteered for Funk's campaign. Tony, what do you know about Charlie Shields? He is a conservative republican who has voted in favor of anti-Hispanic legislation in Jeff City.
ReplyDeleteCrispin is still young and has a lot to learn. But it can be established that he was not only NOT a member of any Hispanic caucus in KC or in Jeff City, but also seems to be working AGAINST the best interests of the Hispanic community.
9:34, I know Crispin and like Crispin, although all of those ideas were brought to him by other people its good to see him putting them in place. Saying that, to say that the Latino Community has no other youth leaders is crazy. I can think of about 100 from Kansas City who are doing there thing in places you wouldn't imagine and of that, 20 that will be leading the community down the road. To be truthful, Crispin is not one of them.
ReplyDelete11:49 AM Thanks for putting the truth out there.
ReplyDeleteUna Voz I know a thing or 50 about the community and I think that although its cool to see youth active, this kid is far from a "community leader" in the Latino Community. Before putting on an orange shirt, this kid knew next to nothing about the community and had attended about as many Latino events as David Duke. Like all of Funk's staff Crispin unfortunately was picked to shake his head up and down. KC/KCK is filled with young educated Latinos, many of which are bilingual and have experience on a national level; this kid doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprise the "La Raza" hasn't taken things into their own hands.
ReplyDeleteTony's mom won't let them.
ReplyDeletepaintman and anon 1256 make about as much sense as the gay anti gay republicans in DC or the anti sex republicans busted for purchasing prostitutes.
ReplyDeleteHey Tony,
ReplyDeleteI heard that you live in your mommy's basement.Crispin is in college and already has a great job and future. What about you ? And I went on your myspace and you should be ashamed. GROW UP !!
