Thanks to the folks who listened to the radio segment on KMBZ 980 and a special thanks to Bill Grady for the interview. I really liked talking to him and I don't know why but I was expecting a ton of "right wingish" attacks . . . As usual I was wrong, Sunday was clearly more laid back (and informative) then the regularly scheduled programming and as I was listening I was surprised to find myself enjoying his interview with Dave Helling. No wonder Helling has a blog ring dedicated to Xanga users who think he is "super cute."
Notes:
I only had time to drop one name. If it was up to me, and I could keep my composure, please believe that I would mention everybody (and more) on my blogroll. Instead, I think I spoke too much regarding personal motivations for blogging . . . Strange because most of the time I don't even understand them myself.
The diary bloggers are underrated. I write about politics, news and race because I don't have a life . . . I love reading people who actually do have interesting lives to relay.
When I get nervous my voice is actually that light; normally I sound like Isaac Hayes. Believe that.

Tony, first of all "way too nice" is not a phrase that gets attributed to me very often. Just ask my wife!
ReplyDeleteSecond, I got a real nice email from Bill Grady saying he'd love to have you on, but he only subs for Mike Shannon and I don't think Shannon gives up the microphone all that often.
Oh yeah, and how is it you know about Helling's Xanga fan club? Cmon Tony. Fess up. You have a Xanga site don't you? That is like, so totally awesome dude!

The whole "hero worship" thing was a little embarrassing, but I understand where it was coming from, so I'll just say "Thanks" and leave it at that.
We, at the floss, like your soft voice, Tony...keep it up. Just think...keep it nervous when talking to the lesbians, we think it is sexy :)
