Clay County Health Department shut down two water spray parks in Liberty due to high levels of a diarrheal disease found in the water.
These places (water spray facilities) have become more popular recently because they are cheaper to maintain than swimming pools and they seem cleaner. Also, no matter how many life guards are on duty . . . Eventually, at some point every public swimming pool is going to have to deal with a dead kid floater or a some kind of similar floating fecal matter problem.
Personally, I stay away from both options because it all seems like human stew to me.

ReplyDeleteI had this shit, literally, about a week ago. Funny thing is that I hadn't visited any of these locations (and I do live in Liberty). Had me home from work for about 2 days and had my shit smelling like burnt cancer.....it wasn't fun.

Whether it's a "spray park", a public pool, or Ocean's of Fun...you have to ask yourself one question; "Would I sit in my bathtub at home with any of these people?"

So why would you immerse yourself in any other body of water with them? It's disgusting. You are swimming in water that has flowed over their genetalia.
Thank you, but no. I'd rather sit at home, crank up the AC and pay a $500 electric bill than swallow a big gulping mouthful of "white trash stew".
