The Record Bar seems like a decent place

This happy local blogger shares some shots of Saturday's big punk rock matinee at the Record Bar. Normally, I avoid all social interaction but I hear nothing but good things about this local hipster hangout. It's strange where people congregate in this city . . . I was on the Plaza over the weekend. My girlfriend and I were trying to waddle off a pretty decent meal of greasy Mexican food. Some young, hot, fine and gussied up tart walks over to us and ask if we know the whereabouts of McCormick & Schmick's. My girlfriend had to tell her no, I was just staring at her fine ass all dressed up in heels and a new dress with her hooker make up on and I nearly asked "Isn't 27 a little too old to still believe that you're going to marry a rich lawyer?" Sadly, she took off right before I found my words or before I could utter the term "threeway."

I guess what I'm getting at is that there are a lot of places in this city where only a certain type of person shows up . . . For example, Black people, poor white people and Latinos mainly show up at the County Jail. Anyway, the Record Bar seems like too much of a hipster hangout for my tastes but clearly a lot of people dig the place.

  1. That's a rather racist statement by you. I'm a relatively wealthy white man, my SO and I would rather have some greasy Mexican food than spend hard earned money at Plaza III, Ruth's Chris or that fancy schmancy fish place. Why would anyone want to eat fish (other than bottom feeding types) in this town. My motto is 'If you can't see the water, don't eat the fish'.

  2. Screw the Recordbar.
That fat white bitch waitress (or is she pregnant) always has a pissy attitude. Screw her.
