Is it racist to describe the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum as a Black hole for taxpayer dollars?

When was the last time you visited the place? Go ahead and lie but you'd be crazy to think that your 10 bucks contributes to keeping the lights on at one of this town's most expensive White Elephants. Face it, the NLBM has done nothing but continually lose money. It's not a major attraction for this city no matter how many awards people give the place.

What I think is ironic and horrible is that a museum dedicated to the memory of these pioneers has been on welfare since its inception and failed its attendance goals time and time again. Yes, Buck O'Neil is a kindly old man who is universally beloved, any dumbass could tell you that . . . But his efforts, just like his Hall of Fame bid, have come up short and not even the most liberal, whiny and patronizing sports enthusiast has been able to do anything about the disappointing performance of the the NLBM and the entire 18th and Vine project as a whole.

While the place sucks money out of the city's coffers like a Hall of Famer, its limited earning potential goes underreported by this town's media who desperately tout any tiny bit of good news.
