It's a slow news week but I'm sure the Star will find something with which they can skew their coverage. Here are some headlines while we wait:
East Side redevelopment project has been halted so Kansas City officials can determine whether the site has been contaminated with asbestos.
- Breathe easy, real estate speculation will not be delayed too long.
Homeless man charged in stabbing death of his aunt
- You only hurt the ones you love, clothe and feed you and then politely ask you to leave after awhile.
"When evil lurks near our children"
- Local writers purport to know the difference between good and evil. I'm not defending child molesters but I'd like to know where this moral clarity was when the Stadium Tax was under discussion.
Repressed memory is at the center of lawsuits against Catholic priests.
- I remember that almost every priest I've ever met has been a dick. Thankfully, I don't remember theirs. But then again, I was never a candidate for pervy priests because I never had the innocent thing going for me and I had a goatee by the time I was 11.
You love KC, the way I love Oakland and that is Hella Fresh.
