It appears that the city might be about to open the issue of removing the traffic lights and converting the parkway section of the road into a real highway.
Sadly, this means that commuters could be forced to take an exit ramp in order to enjoy chicken gizzards from 'Go Chicken Go' or pick up a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20. Somehow, I'm sure these stores will survive even if their existence means a worse chance of survival for the residents of the community.
