U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver has paid his property tax bill for a Grandview car wash he owns.
Cleaver, a Democrat from Kansas City, paid the taxes Wednesday, a Jackson County spokesman said. Cleaver paid $14,789, the amount he owed for the car wash, 12204 Blue Ridge Blvd.
Cleaver's detractors now forced to find other dirt.
