A Missouri Strip Club is no longer off-limits for soldiers.
ST. ROBERT, Mo. -- Soldiers from nearby Fort Leonard Wood are once again allowed to visit a popular strip club that had been placed off-limits by the Army, for reasons it still declines to specify.
The post commander, Maj. Gen. Randal Castro, took the action against Big Louie's adult entertainment complex on Feb. 28, citing an emergency situation. Owner Louie Keen said he hadn't been notified in advance of the ban and was puzzled by it. The ban could have resulted in layoffs for some of his 120 employees, including the wives of soldiers, he said . . .
Mike Alley, chief of external communications at Fort Leonard Wood, said the Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board voted last Friday to recommend that the off-limits order be lifted, which Castro did the same day.
God Bless America.
