Getting rid of an old clunker always is a problem these days ... even junk yards either don't want them or make you pay to dispose of them.

When my old heap finally gives its death rattle, I'll just drive it into a CK airport parking garage and take a cab home. My gift to the dim-bulb CK taxpayers, who have shown over and over again that they will put up with absolutely anything.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10849017.post-16013345911866271232014-07-23T11:17:47.674-05:002014-07-23T11:17:47.674-05:00Folks, WDAF characterized it as a problem. For whatever reason, vehicles are sometimes abandoned and we deal with it. We inventory vehicles every evening. Forgot where you lost your car? We can tell you. Lost your ticket? We know how long you have been parked. Letters are sent to owners in fixed intervals. After a certain period of time the vehicles are towed to a central lot. Eventually they are towed to the City Lot and auctioned. They are re-purposed, in a way. This issue has no ties to other airport issues.
