TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! INSIDER: COUNTDOWN TO JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE ELECTION SEASON INDICTMENT!!!

As his campaign signs litter Jackson County right of ways, Executive Frank White confronts an upcoming challenge more formidable than any preordained Kansas City vote.

To wit . . .

INSIDERS: SILLY SEASON INDICTMENT OVER SKETCHY FINANCES THREATENS JACKSON EXEC FRANK WHITE!!!

The bad news is twofold . . . The upcoming investigation of Jackson County isn't going to do anybody @ 12th & Oak any favors because Auditor Nicole Galloway will shore up her support among Republicans voters by calling out Courthouse corruption -- So, some scathing findings are to be expected.

But it gets worse . . .

Already under investigation . . . Insiders reveal that Missouri AG Hawley can earn statewide political capital with a crackdown against a troubled institution, calling out a marginalized leader and confronting a scandal-ridden Administration via an indictment against Team Frank.

Well-timed action against Exec White will not only intimidate KC's Democratic Party loyalists fearing any challenge to their own dirty laundry but also earns "reformer" credentials for the noob AG.

Precedent: AG Hawley didn't fear political backlash when he took on disgraced former Guv Greitens.

And so, the formerly beloved baseball player is now mostly a scandal-ridden politico in the mind of most voters despite his campaign focused mostly on long gone World Series glory days.

You decide . . .

  1. So Frank will only win by a margin of 20%?

I'm sure he'll be torn up about that.

He's not going to win anything if he's forced to resign.

    2. Frank started off with good intentions but he's just not a hands on manager or somebody who can delegate effectively. He downplayed jail problems until the crisis point and his problems with the legislature are the worst we've seen in years. If this was anybody else, there would be a call for him to resign already.

I know KC area voters are cynical, but not sure voting for somebody under investigation is too much to ask.

  2. 7:36 The election is really meaningless. Frank resigns before or after the votes are cast, probably in a deal like Grietens got.

It's a sad commentary on Jackson County voters that you can be as corrupt and incompetent as Frank White, but still "win." He hasn't played baseball in 30 years, not that being a good second baseman ever qualified him to be county exec. Now he needs to just go away.

  3. Why didn't you post a picture of Lil' Joshie standing beside Duct Tape?
He was one of Greiten's staunchest supporters until he saw that the entire GOP Legislative leadership had turned on him.
Then, a day late and a dollar short, Joshie started running around in circles, flinging investigations and giving interviews.

This lightweight hasn't done any part of the AG's job yet, he's been too busy running for the Senate ever since he was elected to bother with something as petty as a State Office.

I don't care what you think of McCaskil, the GOP isn't going to get her out of office until they put forth a Real Candidate, who has a Real Track Record.

This Republican love affair with 'first timers' may win in-State Offices, but Lil' Joshie is too wet behind the ears for anything National, except maybe an Internship.

  4. The state auditor needs to audit the KCMO water department.

  5. I'm calling BS on 7:40. Frank got into county politics because he desparately needed the money. He wheeled and dealed with Sleazy Mike Sanders to get elected to the county legislature and then to be appointed county executive.

  6. 7:36 ^^^ I'm guessing Frank White will be all tore up when he's facing criminal charges and probably federal charges on top of the state ones.

  7. Stupid Frank neve figured out that Williford along with Hennosey was flipping on him from day one to talk their way out of their own graft. Personally, I think Frank IS a good man. But he is stubborn and stupid though which will wreck him when surrounded by dirt like those two and Clifford.

  8. Which would you rather an elected official be? Incompetent or corrupt? In Frank White, Jackass County has got both.

  9. Did his world series ring fit Mike Sanders ?
