Kansas Congressman Yoder Demands Halt To Family Separation At The Border

A bold move for this politico during election season. Like it or not, this might weaken his hardcore right-wing support but helps against a progressive front runner.

The Trump administration's policy of separating parents and children who cross the border without legal permission has become a divisive issue across the United States and in Congress. The policy spurred U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-Kansas, to demand Monday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions "take immediate action to end the practice."

    2. First of all, wash your mouth out with soap; what potty talk. Secondly, there are nearly 200 countries on earth. Why does everyone seeking something have to come to the US? Give the Statue of Liberty to another country and let them solicit their tired, huddled masses. Our welfare hotel is full.

  3. Children are separated every single day in America when parents commit crimes, face prosecution and detainment. Why is there an exception for illegal aliens who face consequences for their actions?

  4. Refugees are not criminals.

When your ancestors arrived at Ellis Island, they didn't have permission to be here.

    1. My ancestors were here long before there was an Ellis Island. They were actually here before there was a USA. What’s your point?

  6. 6:09, you dumb shit, their absolute right to seek asylum does not include a right to cross the border without authorization. They do not commit a criminal act IF they present themselves at any port of entry and claim asylum there. They do commit a criminal act if they cross the border illegally and attempt to excuse that crime by claiming asylum when they're caught. Do try to keep up, and ignore the little voices in your head.
