3-Trails Transit Center To Celebrate Opening With Dedication
Dedication of the historic 3-Trails Transit Center and recognition of the site as the official national historic trailhead
The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority, 3-Trails West, Inc. and the National Park Service will dedicate a major transit hub which is both high-tech and historic at 12:30 P.M., May 31. The 3-Trails Transit Center is at 9449 Blue Ridge Blvd. in South Kansas City.
The new hub will be a major stop for sex bus routs connecting riders to downtown Kansas City, Waldo, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Hospital Hill, Raytown and other sites in the region.
The station hosts KCATA's first citypost smart digital kiosk. Riders will be able to touch a screen for real-time bus information and historic trail information. The kiosk will feature a constant flow of information about city and community events.
The National Park Service will recognize the stop as an official national historic trail trailhead marking the area nearby where the California, Oregon and Santa Fe national historic trails converged. This event is also being held in honor of the 50th anniversary year for the National Trails System. The trail head has custom interpretive panels designed by 3-Trails West, Inc and the National Park Service that illustrate the historic significance of the trails and stories of trail travelers with ties to the area. This trailhead is one of the first identified along a 47-mile national historic trail experience being planned that retraces the path of the three national trails in the Kansas City area from Sugar Creek, MO, to Gardner, Kansas.

Even the media acknowledged that there was speculation of a serial killer, especially after police said there were “obvious similarities” among four killings of older white men along the Indian Creek and Blue River trails. Still, nobody mentioned that all of the dudes were single amid even more speculation about rando hookups with even more nasty DNA evidence . . . I get the trail connection but it's kind of bleak. This is actually a great service that will help residents get around more efficiently and safely. It's a good thing for the SKC and while there is the risk of violence with every form of transit. The technology is obviously helping lower that risk too.

They also were having the same problem we have on the Plaza. Hundreds of hood rats running wild in the streets in the Loop. The difference? The cops actually arrested 18 people and beat numerous others. Like we should do here. Both cities have dipshit Democuck mayors.
