  1. Decent links and and news.

Always a little disappointed in my city that this weekend is mostly about BBQ and fireworks, a lot of the meaning is lost on people who don't bother to read the news or realize the Afghanistan conflict is 17 years running now.

  2. PTSD is lazy white boys welfare... SSI, unlimited drugs, and other entitlements that's bankrupting us. Grow a pair, soldier!

  3. ^^^sez the cowardly civvy who never served his country, let alone saw a minute of combat. Fuck you, pussy.

  4. There is a small group of people who legit have PTSD, but now it's a catch-all term for every depressive, drunk, addict, manic person who has ever been yelled at all the way up to legit war trauma.

  5. Man, I was in the shit. I saw heads exploding and body parts everywhere and death taking all for keeps, man. It was hell. Hell on earth.

  6. Yeah, man, heavy shit. Knee deep in rice paddies and chaos, man.

  7. Our country basically in too many way shits on our veterans. It's a shame to see them ignored and treated bad after serving for their country. America seems to always have money for other countries and illegal immigrants while our vets can't get decent medical care. America needs to change to where this country is all about us first and to hell with the rest of the world. They can fight over the scrapes if anything is left.

  8. If you make a career of the military, you're taken care of, even if you operated a loader at Dover. For life. Military entitlements need to be overhauled. Not enough money to support all of the promised entitlements

  9. When are you going to come to your senses and accept that i am the one true American hero here? If it werent for my MIZZOU pedigree genius in stoplights and highways, you wouldn’t have any roads to drive to your celebrations on. You definitely owe me a debt of gratitude, which you can show by doing the following:

    1. Call your state legislator in Jefferson City and advocate for MoDOT technical specialists like me to get a well-deserved raise.

    2. Make a generous donation to the MIZZOU athletics scholarship fund.

    3. Vote for the fuel tax increase in Missouri this November.

I will be in my office at the MoDOT ST. JOSEPH Tuesday morning for you to call and thank me for my service to the highways you drive on.

    Sincerely

  12. George Bush Sr. will have Hitler waiting tables at his resort in hell. He is personally responsible for all the atrocities coming out of the middle east and Sahara Africa for the last 30 plus years that will continue long after his deservedly painful death.

  14. Helping the troops is a big deal and I don't think we should think of it as "entitlements" but more about the real cost of waging war. It's a cost that is often overlooked going into a conflict and THAT needs to change.

  19. All the MAGA bots are proud that Trump has fixed the VA and giving veterans the great treatment they deserve. Glad that PTSD and suicide issues are no longer a problem.

Now when is apologizing for mocking POW/MIAs???

President Bone Spurs is AWOL. As usual. Sad.

  20. Donald is your President5/28/18, 12:37 AM

Give our president a willfull congress and watch MAGA take off!!! It really must suck to be a hater. Your immature hatred of Trump will set your brain growth back another 6 1-2 yrs, but that is not mine but especially your development process. You are just not used to seeing how a real president works.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I didn't realize real presidents spent their days tweeting at their country clubs, golfing and insulting POWs. He can't even find a decent VA Secretary.

Trump does have a willful Greedy Old Pervert Congress. Their proudest MAGA accomplishment was busting the budget to give trillions to multinational corporations. Veterans, sorry, maybe next year.

I might be a hater, but not as bigly as Trump when it comes to veterans.

  22. Trump cannot even make it through a ceremony honoring WWII heroes without throwing out a racial slur.

Remember the Navajo code talkers ceremony? He had native American soldiers accept their award in front of the portrait of Andrew "Trail of Tears" Jackson.

Then he "honors" them with name calling. "I just want to thank you because you are very, very special people. You were here long before any of us were here," Trump said. "Although, we have a representative in Congress who has been here a long time ... longer than you -- they call her Pocahontas!"

Trump is a disgrace and his insults and lack of respect to veterans is shameful.

  23. "When people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over, and you’re strong and you can handle it. But a lot of people can’t handle it.’’

That's from "Bone Spurs" Trump, speaking to a group of veterans in Northern Virginia and confirming his ignorance of PTSD with his offhand comment. The message is clear. If you're strong, you can take it and wont get PTSD. Otherwise, you're weak.

These unfiltered and thoughtless remarks prove that Trump is not fit to be commander in chief. They are indicative of a man who is completely out of touch with the mental health epidemic veterans are facing on a daily basis.

  24. "I like people that weren't captured". Bone Spurs Trump on POWs.

  25. Not MAGA but a realist5/28/18, 1:28 AM

I hear what you're saying about the current guy, but I can't help thinking that Hillary still would have been worse because she would have created more wars and more veterans who would have been hurt by them.

Not a fan of any politician because one isn't any better than the next.

  26. “I’ve been so lucky in terms of that whole world,” Mr Trump told Stern in a conversation about avoiding avoiding STDs. “It is a dangerous world out there. It’s scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam era. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave soldier.”

Only in Trump's infantile brain can fucking porn stars give you stature equivalent to a Vietnam vet. I guess to his cheering MAGA supporters too. Disgraceful.

  27. Trump has sent soldiers to Yemen, Syria, and Niger, all without Congressional approval. He increased troop numbers to Afghanistan after he said he would not.

Clinton would not have expanded wars like that. I know most people didn't like her. She's not likable. Still, she would have been better than Trump.

    He is the absolute worst.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Secretary Clinton was a part of Obama's Administration that conducted renditions, bombed civilians and expanded the war on terror. There is no reason to believe she would have acted any differently than Trump when it comes to foreign policy.

  31. Thanks for reminding me about his fake veteran donations.

It's a pattern. He shows up to pledge money, then months later we find he hasn't given anything.

He pledged $1 million at a veterans benefit in Iowa in early 2016. 4 months later, the Trump organization refused to share details of any actual payment and the veterans group confirmed they got zilch.

He gets no thank you for sending his some of this $400K salary to the national park service. That's negated by the Billion$$$ in tax cuts he gave himself, his corporations, and his family.

  32. @2:40 Russian bot talking points that don't make sense.

Try to come up with something other than fake conspiracy theories.

  33. Trump lied to and insulted gold star families including the wife of an Army Ranger killed in Niger.

He ignored the services members killed in Niger for over a week.

Then he lied about calling or writing all families of those KIA. He had not.

Then when he finally called Sgt La David Johnson's wife (when the widow was on her way to receive her husband's body), Trump couldn't even remember his name and said he knew what he signed up but it hurts anyway.

It simply does not get any lower than that.
