Kansas Governor Signs One of the Strongest Compensation Laws in U.S.
Today, Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer signed one of the strongest laws in the nation providing state compensation for innocent people who were wrongfully convicted ( House Bill 2579). This makes Kansas the 33 rd state to enact a wrongful conviction compensation law.
I'm shocked a Republican did this but it was definitely the right thing g to do. Should be mandatory nationwide.
