DOUBLE TAKE: TWO MURDERS IN KCMO ALREADY THIS WEEK AS JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR PREPARES TO TACKLE SORDID MISSOURI GUV GREITENS CASE!!!

First up, Kansas City counts 2018 homicide #46 which puts us two ahead of last year's historic pace as this week starts out exceptionally bloody . . .

KMBC Police investigating second fatal shooting Monday night, this time near 36th and Mersington

And then . . .

THE LADY WHO MISSOURI GUV GREITENS ALLEGEDLY FORCED INTO "SEXY" WORKOUT SODOMY SPEAKS AGAIN!!!

Take a a peek:

KSDK: Woman in Greitens scandal says she’s been used

The money line:

“I didn't want this. I wasn't out to get anyone. I really was just trying to live my life,” she said.

She said the governor's defense team used her statement from a deposition out of context comment in to imply she had dreamed the now infamous encounter in the basement.

“I definitely did not dream this up. Period.”

More than anything . . .

HER TV TESTIMONY ARGUES AGAINST THE "SLUT SHAMING" TACTICS OF THE GUV AND HIS INTERNETS TROLL SUPPORTERS WHICH ACTUALLY JUST MAKE THE MISSOURI HONCHO LOOK EVEN MORE GUILTY!!!

Similarly . . .

Fox4: FBI agents asking Missouri lawmakers about tactics by Greitens associates

Post-Dispatch: State treasurer taking 'seriously' concerns over Greitens' taxpayer-paid impeachment lawyers

To wit . . .

Conservative Jack Cashill sums up the sitch from a right-wing but mostly accurate perspective:

"Given the legal and ethical challenges facing the current Jackson County executive, the former Jackson County executive, the Jackson County Sheriff and the congressman representing the fully Democratic Jackson County, one would have hoped that (Judge) Burlison might have found a prosecutor with less to worry about than Baker."

Moreover . . .

MEAN JEAN ALSO HAS THE JAIL AND THE WORSENING KANSAS CITY MURDER RATE TO CONSIDER ALONG WITH THE GUV'S UNSEXY PROCLIVITIES!!!

And so . . .

In the final analysis and in a very real sense, the divisive, confused and circus-like politics of Kansas City seemingly fuel the chaos on local streets that mostly mimics that turmoil among our elected officials.

You decide . . .

    1. Interesting debate here, pleading this one down will be hard because it looks like the Governor doesn't want to bargain. He's playing for keeps and not backing down against anyone.

She got the Bishop to agree to a lesser sentence but this is going to be a much harder case. They'll actually have to prove what the guy did wrong.

    2. ^^^ People have been convicted on much less evidence than what is facing Governor Greitens. The slapping and spitting testimony alone has ruined careers. The guy doesn't know how entitled he is and K.S. seems like she is sticking to her guns too.

This case is how Senator Claire McCaskill wins the election with the help of her friend Jean! They will ride this #MeToo show to victory thanks to the former Democrat Guv. I have to disagree with Cashill, the judge knew exactly what he was doing. Making this a Democratic pile-on.

  8. With as many murders in KCMO that Mean Jean has to handle it makes one wonder how she is going to effectively handle the Grietens case.
Looks like Grietens might have been handed a gift.

    FACTOID

Jean Peter Baker will do anything for attention, for those that remember the epic SHOW DOWN in front of live TV News cameras about a year ago,,,,

Baker got owned by criminals in an epic verbal beat down on live TV BY SEVERAL BLACK WOMEN who weren't going to put up with Bakers Bullshit Antics for publicity !!

maybe TONY could pull that up and post the video ????

    Bakers EPIC fail !!!

  13. Greitens with the KS interview is a top USA Today story and trending nationwide. Different charges related to the Gov and his victim could be possible and is just plain sad.
No honor or shame- the story goes on and on pulling more collateral from Greitens’ entourage of supporters and ex-employees. Sad.
It’s more clear than ever with more investigations being done from all sides - Missourians are the losers and it will be remembered in History for the next generation to learn in school- how this sordid affair came to be.
    Lesson?
    So many....

  14. The murder rate is actually a blessing. Since Jean Petersucker Baker can’t or won’t get murderers off the street, they end up killing each other.

  17. Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Baker, with an eye on future statewide office, did not inform Judge Burlison that she is unable to address the Greitens witch hunt.

For an ambitious Democrat, this opportunity is GOLD. Take down a sitting Republican Governor and you'll immediately have roses thrown at your feet and be feted by national party leaders.

Only problem? There was NO original crime!

There was NEVER a photo taken.
The alleged victim NEVER filed a police report.
Some $100,000 changed hands to get this story publicized and promoted in the media.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney violated the law in bringing charges against Greitens for the imaginary crime.

How long can the Democrats beat a dead horse? Well, at least until they get their heads handed to them in the midterm elections. I've never accused Jean Baker of being stupid, and I suspect she'll shortly announce she's not filing charges after reviewing the files.

Ask a kid about the history of this country, and how close we were to losing the Revolutionary War. The War of 1812. The Civil War. The Great Depression. The "Greatest Generation" and WWII.--- and see the blank expression on their poor little Facebook, ipod and hiphop faces. But be very careful not to hurt their feelings. 28. As for why she continued the affair with Greitens if the first encounter felt coerced she said “I just wanted to feel better. I felt so awful about myself. I wanted to forget whatever happened. I didn't want to believe that actually happened, and so, if he really likes me then, ‘Yeah, yeah, it didn't happen like that.'"

She wanted to feel better? She felt so awful. Hell yes she should feel awful, she and Greitens both were married and guilty of adultery. But she thinks she is entitled to stay hidden and her face and name not made public so she as well shares the public humiliations that she should be receiving for doing what she was a willing partner to be involved in. This KS person is simply trying to push all the blame onto everyone but herself. She as well should apologize to the public and her family for the acts she committed and for making statements that were twisted as fact but appear to not be fact at all.

If you want to forget something you don't go and do it again. That to me sounds like a person who is grasping at anything to look innocent when in fact is just as guilty as hell of being an adulteress.

  34. 11:42 if her worthless ex husband hadn’t got paid to trash talk greitens then none of this would have happened. I believe she is reacting because she is extremely embarrassed. Her ex and the dummocucks are dragging her through the mud for a payoff. It never feels good to do something wrong and then have it broadcast all over the country for political gain and a jealous ex husband must hurt something awful.

  36. You are correct with those points as well 2:15. But the bottom line is still she got caught or admitted the affair as a means to piss off the ex. If she wants to be pissed at someone her anger should be directed at the ex and the democratic regime that felt it was necessary to drag her through the mud. But in the end it all comes down to she cheated, she got caught and now she will pay the price of public embarrassment for not being smart enough to keep her mouth shut and her desire for sex with married men only in her dreams

He will spend millions on his defense and his kids will cry out as they learn o low inheritance because of a zipper and a DJ and a BJ.
At least it was. Now it’s the other stuff that’s being exposed- including dark dark dark money- accusations of felonies... and of course- the dark horse...CONFIDE - secret secret apps that he used for “normal” business to run the Capital.

If this lady truly is interested in putting this sordid matter behind her, perhaps she should consider following The First Rule of Holes: When you find yourself in a hole QUIT DIGGING! Holding a press conference to announce that you no longer wish to talk about something is somewhat it disingenuous.

Now no one has a lower opinion of Gov. Sleazy then I do. But we must all remember that when this kinky adulterous misconduct occurred the leading movie – at least among folks who were not 12-year-old boys – was called "50 Shades of Grey". It was based on a series of books that had sold 50 million copies – only about six of which were sold to men. So the idea that a woman might consensually engage in such behavior – i.e. be less a terrified victim than an enthusiastic participant– is certainly not inconceivable. That is particularly true when – after a detailed explanation of how horrified and appalled she was – she begins to describe their second date. And third.

Here is the actual problem: the GOP in Missouri has so much anonymous money to spread around and is so divided over the governor that $100,000 in cash paid to an attorney for a peripheral "player" seems chump change. And at a certain point, money tends to edit memory – particularly among those who are not billionaires.
