Sen. Blunt doesn't call for Greitens' resignation on 'Meet the Press'

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Missouri U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt says it is premature to call for the resignation of Gov. Eric Greitens. Blunt, R-Mo., said on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday that the criminal and legislative process should be allowed to continue and determine if Greitens stays in office.

    Blunt, talk about a guy who turned governing into a business. He was, what, a teacher before he went government, now he's a millionaire a few times over. Yeah, makes sense.

    Investigators are investigating investigations many times over... some believe they will become more serious with the revelations provided by the Secret App including Confide... which was subpoenaed and challenged by Greitens.

    Have to wonder why they don’t want to reveal the contents of Connfide is it was just for scheduling as they said. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

    Missouri has never seen the likes the dark cloud hanging over Jeff City- but the Cloud might well reveal even more... that could have been avoided by a resignation. Even if he resigned now- the temperament is such that an appetite exists for those done wrong to put him away and throw the key away for awhile. Missouri’s Rod Blagojevich.
