LAST REMAINING SUPPORTERS OF DISGRACED GUV GREITENS HELP SEN. CLAIRE McCASKILL WIN ANOTHER TERM!?!

Call it "3d chess" or just another insight into why the mainstream Missouri GOP wants the Guv gone before Midterm election season kicks into high gear . . .

According to Politico . . .

‘She’s a lucky duck’: GOP implodes again for McCaskill

Context . . .

"Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill is up for reelection. And, like clockwork, the Republican Party of Missouri is in complete turmoil again.

"McCaskill won a second term term in 2012 when GOP Rep. Todd Akin’s campaign imploded in the wake of his comments about “legitimate rape.” Now, Republicans worry GOP Gov. Eric Greitens’ mounting scandals will inundate McCaskill’s likely Republican opponent, state Attorney General Josh Hawley, and bestow another term on one of the most endangered incumbent senators in the country."

And let's not forget that those who deny this possibility might be the same folks who didn't believe Sen. Claire McCaskill could beat her last opponent thanks mostly to one stupid comment exploited PERFECTLY by her campaign team.

Like it or not, this could be the first sight of the BLUE WAVE on the horizon.

You decide . . .

  2. As a 50 something year old white man I have never voted Democrat. For the first time in my life I’m embarrassed about my votes. I worked to help the governor get elected and I supported the president. Given who the democrats put up I still could not vote for Clinton. She is the single worst political candidate I’ve ever seen, and the only person Trump could beat. I do wish I would not have supported Greitens. He is a liar, cheater, thief and generally an all around scoundrel. I will vote for Claire and any other Democrat until my party wakes up. If not, the Republican Party is finished. The coming generations will not vote with them.

  3. @ 7:48 - there is a pretty good argument to be made that the Republican Party hasn't won a Presidential Election since 1928, but the Democrats have managed to lose several. "Unelectables" seem to be in favor with the Democratic Power structure, just as "Unknown Quantities" seem to surface regularly on the GOP side.

It all depends on your point of view, who is more important in the USA, the People who built and maintain it or the Wealthy who control it?

  4. 7:48 - Scalliwag, Greitens is a scalliwag!

  5. Technically, he was a "scalliwag" before he was elected, but since then he's been a "Poltroon"!

Apologies for being didactic, but the English Language suffers enough on this site.

  6. Many people looking forward to Greitens’ booking photo today.
Keep a close eye on his eyes.
It will suggest the level of stress.

  7. Regardless of the ongoing Greitens fasco or the unraveling of the Missouri Republican Party, McCaskill will still lose re-election.
Hawley may be a dork and a poor campaigner, both of which seem true so far, but Missouri is a red red state and at the end of the day, there are only two candidates in the Senate race to choose from.
    McCaskill will lose.

  8. ^^How did that whole "Missouri is a red state" BS go the last time she ran in 2012? Or How did it go in 2008? Idiot.

  9. @12:16pm
2012 was a presidential election year with Obama heading the ticket, which tremendously increased turnout, particularly in the minority community.
McCaskill was also running against a "legitimate rape" idiot.
This year's environment is much much different.
    She will lose.

  10. ^^Sure. Keep making excuses. You have no fucking idea what the fuck you're talking about, but keep making excuses for your ignorance. Idiot.

  11. Hillary 2020!

Hillary should pick Claire as her VP ths time, as the guy didn't help her.

  12. It's not 3D chess. It's just chess. It's strategic thinking and looking ahead a few moves.

She's always looked at the GOP primary and how to help elevate the candidate she wants to run against. Her ads in 2012 were a perfect example of reverse psychology. The message was 'don't vote Akin, he's too conservative', knowing the base would hear that as motivation to support him over Steelman and Brunner. It worked.

She messaging again. To swing voters, Josh is unacceptable because he was too slow in reacting to the law breaking Greitens. Hawley was dragging his feet to protect him, and should have charged him last year. He is only piling on now when it's safe.

Willing conservatives will back the message that Josh is a traitor who won't back the duly elected Governor when it counts. In fact, he is attacking Greitens with a bogus charge. For that message, she will distribute the popcorn.

Beating the opponent up during the primary to drive up his negatives his a classic strategy. If he loses the primary and the GOP nominee is some wing nut, even better.

Chess and checkers are sufficient metaphors to explain it. 3D chess is something nobody plays. It barely exists. For most it's just a Star Trek reference to a game too complicated for humans. Not applicable. Nobody in politics is that smart.

  13. I would vote for Satan before I voted for Claire!!!!!!!!! I don't care who she runs against. Never Claire!!!!!

  14. ^^^ This why you get shitty republicans that betray your values. They know you will vote for any loser they put in front of you.

You end up with someone that will votes for big spending, new debt and planned parenthood, like Roy Blunt and Kevin Yoder. Once you vote them in, they become lifers and are never primaried.

So the lesson is go find a real conservative to support now before it's too late. We know it ain't Josh Hawley.
