Business owners along Missouri 7 Highway, south of 40 Highway in Blue Springs said they were burglarized early Monday morning. One of the businesses hit was the Triple Black Tattoo Studios. Owner Vinnie Rheuark said the burglars attempted to get in through his back door.

Search warrants served at KCK middle school while classes were in session
KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police conducted search warrants Friday at a KCK middle school in connection to a student victim. A letter sent home to parents said the warrants were issued at West Middle School and said the students and staff are safe. But it didn't say why the warrant was served in the first place.
