CRAIG CELEBRATES KEVIN FARLEY COMING TO KANSAS CITY THURSDAY NIGHT!!!

A PROMO note from our pal Craig and glimpse at a very special guest coming up at Standfords this week . . .

CRAIG GLAZER: 'STANFORDS DOWNTOWN LANDS KEVIN FARLEY THIS THURSDAY NIGHT'

Growing up 'Farley' had to be tough for Kevin Farley, the younger brother of super star Chris Farley. Both would become famous comedy stars. However Chris got out first and we all know became a legendary comedy tv and film star. Chris became a household name with his Saturday Night Live act and starring role on the show. Chris went on to do hit comedy movies including Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. Sadly the older Farley died at a young age and the entertainment world was shocked. Then came his younger brother Kevin. Not only had to follow in his brothers footsteps but was a 'look alike' and of course the comparisons began.

Kevin Farley began with stand up and touring clubs all over the nation. Kevin landed parts in Tommy Boy, The Water Boy, Black Sheep and got great notice when he was on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' but broke through with his directing and staring in ' I Am Chris Farley.'

A few years back Stanfords at Legends gave Kevin Farley a full week as the headliner and he was a smash hit in Kansas City. Kevin loved the people and KC as well as Stanfords. He came back to help open Stanfords at Overland Park. Shortly after landing his starring role on 'Still The King' TBS number one comedy series for two seasons with Billy Ray Cyrus as co star, yes Molly's dad. Kevin played Billy Ray's parole officer and Billy was an Elvis impersonator. Crazy funny. Today Kevin is high demand he also starred as Al Capone on the hit show 'Drunken History' and tons more. He is now a theater act and has many new movie and tv roles.

When Kevin heard of the new Stanfords downtown and was doing a show in the Midwest he contacted us an offered to do one big night for KC. This Thursday April 12th Kevin Farley will be on stage at Stanfords two show 730 and 930 p.m. Great chance to see this super talent up close and personal in a small warm venue, as well as meet him and get photos and say hello.

Brad Ellis will co star, who is now the lead in a new comedy film, School Spirit and will be at Stanfords all this week and headline the weekend, 730 and 930.
